I recently ordered the oft+ofh and received the tablet first. Installed stg 1 map which makes rev range smoother and flattens out that dip quite noticeably. Once the header gets here I am hoping the dip will be eliminated
I don't think you guys are talking about the same dip. I'm pretty sure the O/P is referring to the problem some guys have where they blip the throttle and even though they don't let up on the pedal, the rpm drops as if they did.
From what I have read, the dip Prowl is referring to requires either FI or a really well designed header to completely eliminate, although a good tune will get you close. I have no idea what to do about what sosick asked about.

Anything w/o FI and you'll still have a dip...maybe even with some FI set ups, that dip may still exist.

Good luck!

Ohhh, you mean the idle! haha, totally different.
Where's the idle after warm up? Look at the owner's manual and it should tell ya where the idle after warm up should be.

I don't see any dip here and it's just a header; no tune, intake or additional exhaust work, and definitely no FI. Slight drop below the dip, nice little gain at high rpm: all in all a nice looking NA power curve.

Stock I had what I'd call idle hunting..... Going from 500 go 1k to 700 back to 1k then down to 500 which if I remember is the warmed up idle.

With the tune I have, the idle is now 700 and I've had zero hunting.

Look at the service bulletin sticky. Go get an updated calibration from your dealership for free. Fixes idle issue.

What mods do you have on the car? Is it only when you release the throttle from high rpm that it goes low? Does it bog? Does it stay low? What is your base calibration? The b01c or d calibrations have improved idle compared to the a01x calibrations that shiv's tunes are based on. If you are on anything other than b01x it may well help.
