CEL issue after dyno tune

Im currently running a Vortech supercharger and have been since April 2013, since then i've only been on perrin's tune and had no issue at all. Last week I got my car tuned on a dyno locally and now I'm having this persistent issue of the infamous slip light and cel. I know that has been an issue from cars from the factory but would this issue possibly have something to do with the recent tune I got? I switched back to my perrin tune and haven't had any issues so I'm thinking it might have to do with the new tune. Don't have much experience with tuning so any insight would help. The tunes were done through Ecutek.

You know the advantage of a CEL is that with EcuTek you can easily hook up and read what CEL you are getting so you can know what is wrong. Tell us what CEL you are getting, and we can help you find the issue.

Yeah sorry I posted this quickly while I was working, the codes it's throwing are P0068 and C1201. After searching I also found this thread http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1474825 so I'm now thinking it's possibly the same issue this user was having since i'm also using a 2.5 bar maf sensor so i'm assuming it was not scaled properly.

it's MAP/MAF throttle position correlation. you'll get this code when your MAF scaling is all jacked up, or at least that's when i got it way back when i had my first tune after the turbo. properly scaling the maf/injectors did the trick for me.

to be precise, my tuner had simply typed '900' into the injector scaler for my dw900's (not anywhere near correct) and then compensated for the wildly incorrect port fueling in the MAF, which caused the throttle position correlation code to appear. it could show up for other reasons as well, i'm not sure.

if you're getting it for the same reason i did, it should be accompanied by some pretty crappy drivability and crazy fuel trims.

Yeah I figured it might be something with the scaling, the car actually drives perfectly fine, it only throws the code after driving it for awhile and usually while cruising at a constant speed.

This most likely has nothing to do with a bad tune or bad MAF scaling, injector scaling etc.

Have your tuner check under DTC Limits, there are two settings for max and min voltage directly related to P0068. They are labeled P0068 Map Sensor Voltage Max, and P0069 MAP sensor Voltage Min (I think this one is mislabeled - should be P0068).

Set those to 5 volts max, and 0 volts min. This should solve it, especially if your car is running fine otherwise.

Thanks for the response, my tuner actually went over the map and sent me a revision just now, he made some corrections to the maf voltage so i'm hoping it's the same issue you stated. Will report back after trying out the new map.

Hi,

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but I have an issue regarding the MAP Sensor Voltage Min. I can't find the map! It's not in DTC Limits. I've looked for it everywhere and it does not seem to be there. I've seen screenshots of where it is, but in my rom, the map simply does not exist.

I'm using the A01I rom that came with the software.

Any suggestions?

it possible it just a clitch caused by the ecu flashing during tuning.

clear the code with an obd scanner or just remove a battery terminal , then press brake pedal and reconnect.

if it comes back you have more issues with the traction/vsc system, check the wiring to abs module past that your going to need specialist help and software tools.

New ROM from my tuner. Flashed the car and cleared DTC'S. C1202 and U0100 are no longer being thrown
VCS and engine light used to come on but only after driving the car at a consistent speed for a few kilometers.
I drove the car for 100km. No issues.
