Seat problem
Hi experts,
I'm having a problem with the driver seat. I'm not able to set the correct height of the seat, when I try to increase the height it works perfeclty, but when I try to decrease it, it gets blocked and seat is not moving. Any help? I also tryed to look for something blocking the seat, but I found nothing. Thanks for help. |

You might have reached the limit you can pump the seat down and I presume you are pumping in a downward motion. If you aren't sure you're as low as you can be, raise the seat all the way and then lower again to see if it stops in the same spot.
On another note I once had to get out of my seat and lower it while it was empty cause antigravity |

Thanks Giaseric for the answer,
I already tryed to pump the seat up and down and, as I said, it works when I pump it up, even if I'm out of the car, but when I try to pump it down it stops going down after a while. I checked the height of the passenger seat and I noticed the driver seat is higher than passenger one.

Hey Fab! That does not sound good at all. Is there a Toyota dealership to get it serviced?
Have you tried adjusting the seat with and without weight added to it? (from outside of the car) It sounds to me, as if you're using the wrong lever... |

Hi Wolfking,
I went to a dealership to change my rear lights for other probems and I asked for the seat problem too, he just said to check if there was something blocking the seat. I'm sure im using the correct lever to pump down the seat, the problem is just that damn lever! It stops working and doenst let me low the seat.

I'd have it checked by the dealership since there is nothing blocking the seat, was in a car with the same issue, I think it has to do with the lever and something broken that makes the seat go down.

I'll try to move the lever outside and inside, I just read this solution, hope it will work and solve this problem or I'll just go back to the dealership
