lowering spring noob
Whats goin on guys, i havent seen any pics (well maybe i have just no one has listed their specs). Im planning on lowering my car soon to get rid of that notorious wheel gap. I dont wanna go coilovers just yet due to some personal things i have to take care of first. But temporary fix until the spring of 2015 is lowering springs. Im eyeing the eibach sportlines and am just a week shy of buyimg 18 inch wheels. What size tires should i get to meet my needs and avoid rubbing.
P.S.- this will be just for aesthetic purposes and there is no performance gain im looking at. |

P.P.S. - the sportlines are rated at a 1.4 inch drop.

Quick search found me this little thread.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...bach+Sportline More specifically, guys on sportlines from the thread. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=20 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...0&postcount=25 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...2&postcount=33 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...9&postcount=36 You get the point. For tire size, depending on width and offset, I still wouldn't go much wider than 245 in the fronts to avoid rubbing issues. Hope that helps, -Yo |
