Preferred Gasoline Brand Poll

Just curious what brand folks run and if you have noticed any material fuel economy differences between the various brands.

I chose "other". I usually use ARCO.

Is ARCO the same as BP? Chevron and Texaco are essentially the same gas (with Techron).

I voted Hess because they normally have nice convenience stores, Chase ATM's and the air compressors are FREE!

In terms of gas mileage, I actually spent two years tracking my gas mileage and where the gas was purchased: consistently got better mileage from Sunoco and Valero stations...and I mean significantly, 3-5mpg averages.

As long as they have 93, I'll go basically anywhere.

No preference, all gasoline comes from the same place, excluding those mom and pop shops. Those can be questionable.

Shell is one of the guaranteed zero ethanol brands left in Canada. Keeps the crickets away for me

Other, as I buy from a locally owned company (Rackly Oil). So the gas really isn't branded. But they have 93 octane no ethanol and are down the street from home.

I haven't decided on what works for me yet. For now I'm sticking to either Chevron or Shell. The only time I've ever heard the crickets was when I was mixing the two and after a really hard drive.

With JUST Chevron, I haven't noticed anything.
