Q300 burnt tip fading

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if any of you have any fading issue with the invidia q300 burnt tip. I thought they would actually torch it on titanium but it turns out its chemically applied. A spot of mine has a faded spot. The folks from invidia told me it should last forever -.-. I have only had this for 5 month. The spot goes away when you use a iphone flash light to shine on it, I assume it has to do with some light wave property. My point is, I just wanna put this out there for ppl to know what they are paying for. It also came with a scratch on the blue part of the exhaust. I probably cannot get rid of it in anyway correct?

I apologize if this is a boring topic. meh. with the folks at invidia would have just torched the tip if it really is titanium like they said...

I would imagine the tips definitely aren't real titanium, just made to look like burnt titanium. Real titanium has a yellow tinge to it, not a chrome finish.

Yea, well I thought so, but rallysportsdirect actually have it listed as titanium on the tip and S.S. on the rest of it. So If that is the case, Better business could help us out a bit lol

Well regardless of the look. It performs very well and I am 100% satisfied on that part. It is just that the folks at invidia is obviously not being straight forward with me, and that says a lot about a company's dignity, and the business code they abide.

Hey i just got my invidia q300 catback with the titanium tips and just opened up the box. One of the tips is already faded and losing color. The other one is really bright blue. The color on the other tip literally just comes off when i barely rub on it. Is this normal for a brand new exhaust and will the color come back at all?
