Rainy weekend, drive carefully

Driving back from work I already saw a twin on the side of the road over the curb. Luckly I don't think the driver is hurt and I think the car is recoverable aside from hurt pride.
I general our cars are safe in the rain, just don't drive like a jackass and leave all electronic handling systems on.

the don't drive like a jackass part is more important. I've driven my MR2 (no traction control, no nothing - "sport mode is ALWAYS ON" haha) for many years in rainy weather and managed not to explode into flames or lose control.

Funny you should say that, I went Sport Mode as soon as the rain started

But in all seriousness, yes let's all drive carefully - be safe!

These cars have stability control? 30 seconds into my first drive I executed a gorgeous, D1-spec powerslide with the stability control very, very On.

I'm actually kind of stunned they're willing to sell a car with so little wet grip. It's... delightful.

Perfect opportunity to practice/master drifting without wearing out your tires. Haven't you seen Initial D?

All seriousness though just be careful out there when driving in non ideal conditions. My BRZ stays in the garage and the beater gets the rain
