although i don't agree with the white guy talking about sports cars for scion/lexus but not toyota. Makes it sounds like the 86 was originally designed for scion.

It makes senses since the Scion is NA market. Scion did only have TC for an exciting car....well..not too exciting.

All other vehicles are a bit funky...affordable though. They wanted to stir Scion up, and make it known by the whole country....here come the FRS. Succeeded.

Now FT1 for Toyota ? Yah, seems like they need it, but not necessarily. Toyota have no problem selling any of their vehicle, and Brand is well known.

Lexus was boosted around the globe by LFA. Now they are making Lexus known to the planet, hence adding more sport lines.

Top of the line IS F
Revised IS line
New RC coupe
New RC F
New NX

My guess is that Toyota will not build the FT1 for a while more. At least 4 years. To build Lexus new lines reputation in reliability, performance.

Last but not least, when you love another woman beside your wife. It is time to sketch up a divorce

Other than the major 2 things (can't afford, even it it hits production and isn't civilized)

The only real design complaint I have on the FT-1 is the exhausts being so far out and wide in the rear. Looks off, I'm sure I would grow to love it though.
