FR-S TRD Quick Shift Kit

Does anybody have this on their car yet? Based on the photos doesn't seem to be a "complete" kit like the Kartboy short-shift kit, but this TRD kit still promises 25% shorter throws. Not that the throws on a stock car is all that bad to begin with. But for such a low price might be worth a try?

Interesting. That is a pretty low price for a TRD part but hopefully it's pretty good. I'd like to hear how it works out for you. I already have a short shifter from Shifteck.

I bought this kit, but I currently don't have it installed yet, to cold. But that's all you get for the TRD quick shifter + installation guide.

Except I'm pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong) that TRD USA doesn't make an FR-S short shifter...and the box in the photo says trdusa.com. This makes me think it's a knockoff. TRD Japan makes one for the 86, but that would never point towards TRD USA in its' packaging. And, in any case, it's too cheap to be genuine rip a new asshole TRD.

TRD Japan short shifter is replacement shifter assembly, similar to what Kartboy offers.

Just because an aftermarket kit replaces everything, doesn't mean it's better. I had the TRD quickshifter, which is just a bracket, in my 2011 tC and it was brilliant! Much better than the 4-5x more expensive TWM kit.

This looks promising to me. I just checked the Toyota USA accessories portal and yep, it's there. They must have just launched this in the USA recently. Now I just need to find someone with it and try it. The Kartboy was nice last time I tried it but it's too short for my liking.

$150 for $20 worth of parts? This looks like a shifter bushing not a quick shift kit.
