tried using it for the headlights instead of blacking out the housing. Looked like crap, so i just cut them and used em over my side markers instead.

is there a trick to getting it to lay consistently? i tried it on my last car, with soapy water, and a heat gun.. out of 4 lenses i did, 1 came out perfect, the others had major bubbles/wrinkles, and all i had to show for it was a bunch of heatgun burns trying to re-lay it all correctly....

No pics of it, knew it was gonna look bad as soon as I opened it. Only completed one light and decided not to waste anymore time.

I covered the headlights on my old A4 with Lamin-X. I had no issues and the film lasted very well for a couple of years before I sold it. I had my BRZ lights professionally done with 3M because I didn't feel comfortable working with such a complex shape. The design of the A4 lights is so much more basic.

Is your BRZ colored film or clear?

every light up front is done. My car is the reason lamin-x has sales. My car was the test fit car.

Headlights are tinted, sidemarkers are gunsmoke...DRL and fogs are clear.

It's hard to tell with the housing already black. What did all of that cost you?
