AWDtuning - Flower Mound Tx

My overall experiences with this shop have been very good.

The owners have always worked with me on my project for my frs and have given me solid advice and recommendations. I receive very fast responses to my questions and the shop has been very accommodating to my needs.

They have installed quite a few mods including a Innovate Supercharger fuel pump exhaust injectors and a intercooler. I haven't had any problems and I absolutely love my car even more now.

They have made me feel a part of my build and as soon as I walked in a part of the shop family. Every single member of this team from the owners to the office manager to the techs. These guys are great!

I would say that @cf6mech 's experience has been the exact opposite. I hope your motor doesn't blow up.

Like I asked in the other thread where this is a debate, aren't you sponsored by AWDTuning? Kind of hard to think your review of them is unbiased,

Not a very good experience at all,....Josh might say differently but he no where near spent and has had to deal with them as much as I have. They are total hacks in my opinion , everything about my car would have to be redone in order for it to be reliable in any shape or form. Their tune caused rod bearing failure within two weeks of my possession,....they offered to help with the cost on the second build.....they didn't, and when the time came their memory suddenly became foggy..... I paid full price. The car leaked oil on the first build,...then again on the second build,.....I mentioned this numerous times to them,...with them finally saying you have a low mounted turbo its going to leak like im some idiot,...the problem was as I found out later the leak isn't a easy fix and they didn't want to be bothered with making it right (rear main seal) a direct cause of their engine work as it was fine before, they probably re-used the old seal..... The Zetronixs wideband I had them installed under the dash looks like the kid down the street did it,....very unprofessionally done with electricians tape and a hairs nest routing. Driveshaft shop axles they installed soon started pissing oil out of the diff on left side,...when I took it back to have a new seal put in they ripped a hole in the cv boot taking the easy route to install the seal,,,,,I spent 35k plus with these people you would think I would get top notch service,....I had missing body panel fasteners everywhere,....had intercooling piping rubbing metal on metal everywhere....spent a year and two months in their shop.....in that time I drove it only a couple weeks,....I was outraged to find a texas toll tag photo of my car in the mail when it was in their possession with a bill,....I do believe it became Keith the owners daily driver for awhile with out my permission,.....I can't say it was or wasn't,....but I trusted them and believed all their hype. Mary the mouth piece for the shop is professional at shutting down bad reviews and rallying fanboys like Josh to counter,....do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place,....it was a very costly lesson for me and I have a tendency to trust people. Talk to any shop in the area,...in person as they wont through another shop under the bus over the phone and you will here many stories like mine,....go to the NASIOC sight and review older posts of AWDTunung as Mary is friends with the current Mods and all the newer bad reviews have been erased ,...I saw a few bad reviews in my search that mirror my experience almost exactly,.....I got pictures to share of their work if you wont more proof.....like I said they are total hacks.
Sincerely Rick Drury 817-682-5029 if you want to talk just call and leave a voicemail I will return your call if you want more because what I told you is just the tip of an iceberg of my nightmare with AWD. Talk to local law enforcement, they have taken many complaints from customers about merchandise bought for their cars ending up being used parts and not the new parts they ordered, I have been told on occasion the new parts end up on the owners or friends of the owners cars.....PM me if you want a Flower Mound cops name for this little tid bit.

IIRC, I had a methanol injection system installed and dyno tuned back in 2010 by them.

My dyno sheet was almost exactly the same after they installed and tuned it. I don't think they really knew how to tune it. They even admitted when I picked up the car that it took them a while to figure out how to run it on the dyno since it was an automatic...

They were nice people though.

i did not have any issues with them neither. they diagnosed what was wrong with my car, (melted motor mounts), ordered me some perrin motor mounts and installed them for 450.
i then went to get my car tuned by ats racing in Denton tx. no disrespect to awd tunning, but i prefer ats racing for my future projects. the owner of the shop created his own turbo kit for his car.

You gave them a simple task motor mounts,. pretty easy project and no moving parts.....better check to make sure they were new and not used ......they have a habit of putting used parts on your car and the ones you bought on their cars......stay with ATS.Talk to Cobb (plano)Vorschlag (plano)and just about any other metro shop.....they have fixed shit turned out by AWD hacks. I'm still looking for parts.....had to purchase new tails do to their recommended light tinting guy.....they leaked immediately and they didn't leak before hand.....they knew it and didn't give a shit.....they were hacked up so bad they were not salvageable....the list is long......year and a half nightmare. And no I'm not the kind of guy that's never happy.....just don't want anyone to waste their hard earned money or trust their pride and joy with these people.
