10 Series Navigation not included?

I just purchased my 10 series last month and after I started driving it was when I realized my touch screen radio had a map button that didn't do anything.
I talked to the dealer and they said I need bespoke audio and that, that comes with a whole new head unit, that costs $1,200...
Is there anyway to get maps on the head unit I have now or do I have to spend over a grand just to get maps?

You're dealer is clueless... the bespoke system to get navigation is just a module that you add to the current radio, not a whole new radio... Entune from the Prius V is supposed to work, but the original scion module is AHA radio

Yes it's not a full replacement just a small box that goes under your standard head unit. But it does run around $1200 from the dealer. Some people on the forums have them for sale. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50503

I bought it from the dealer and it was a waste of money honestly.

So I could just buy the nav module from that guy and have the dealership put it in?
