Muffler Sys Ideas

did not care for stock frs muff sys and drove with factory borlas and they were just not enough either. I have corsa sports on my c6 and are great! Any opinion on corsa cat sys for my 14' frs or other ideas? Could use help, costly add. New member in Fl thanks Al

I too had the factory Borla axle back and found it just wasn't enough. However, with about $400 you can transform the factory Borla into a cat back exhaust and it makes a world of difference. I also straight piped mine and it sounds a lot better as well.

I'm not familiar with Corsa so I won't comment on those.

Muffs

My frs comes in 1/27 with factory muffs, the factory Borlas I think were $700.

Corsa is really great on vettes, very happy with them. I think can get a frs set around $800. Just thought I might be missing something better, I don't know the names. Nice site. Thanks for the answer.

I replaced the stock axle back with the nameless 2.5 system. You can order one the way you like it. These are a nice set of pipes. I got the quietest setup and it is much deeper and louder than stock.
This little car makes some serious noise.. Now it sounds faster than it is....
I had the NPP option on my C6 and added the manual Controller for the system..
That was convenient, but didn't sound as nice as the corsas..

has the purchase already been made? just curious, also what kind of sound are you aiming for? do you have plans to take it past just a catback system? (headers, frontpipe, etc)

My friend just put the corsa exhaust on his FRS and it sounds AMAZING. The thin piping gives it a much more exotic sound and there is zero rasp or drone. I'm very impressed with it, I'd say go for it.
