anyone have a INVIDIA N1

There going for around 600ish right now on ebay. Was wondering if anyone has this exhaust. I really want a low sounding exhaust. Was wondering if it's too loud in the cabin when your cruising 2.5-3k rpm.

That's too much. You can do better here with vendors on the forums.

absolutely too much, hit the vendors up here fosho...

to answer your question the exhaust has a very nice low growl to it but the cabin drone between 2.8 and 3.5 is a bit annoying, especially in a down shift.

i've put about 2k on the car since i installed the exhaust and it quieted down a little but the cabin drone is still there. when i'm by myself it sounds nice just when my wife is with me i can tell the drone bothers her....

Everytime I see an N1 thread and someone mentions drone, I have to recommend a helmholtz resonated front pipe to get rid of it.... because its very effective

The N1 drones like hell on the highway, especially past 3k revs. Otherwise I like its deep, bassy exhaust note.

Get the Q300 if you want an Invidia system looks really nice and has a great tone throughout the entire rpm range. And if you want the tuner look get the titanium tips

I have the Invidia N1 with Titanium Tips. I love the look, but it is a bit too loud between the ranges you specified. If you're worried about noise, I'd probably stay away from it. The problem is that if noise is a factor, it also limits you from future changing the other pipes.

The catback N1 itself is okay for a lot of people. But if you change the OP/Downpipe to something more free flowing without resonators, it's gonna just get even louder. Later you'l want to change the OP/DP for sure, so always take that into account for future noise level.
