Anyone have Version Select Checkered Floor Mats?

Anyone bought the Version Select Checkered Floor Mats? In the picture shown they don't seem to have factory retaining rings to secure the mats onto the floor. Would the stock ones fit?

Just got mine last week. They do have the rings to go over the factory fasteners, but they do not lock in place. This causes them to sometimes move slightly while entering/exiting the vehicle.

They do fit nice though and look great. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the red/black checkered design.

drifter-s have you tried prying out the stock plastic retainer rings and see if they could fit over the silver rings on the checkered mats? I guess the silver rings on the checkered mats cannot be pry off?

Tried that. Stock retainers won't fit in the silver rings on new mats. Rings are too small. Didn't want to try removing the silver rings in fear of damaging the mats or causing them to fray. Without those rings though, it may be possible to get the stock pieces to fit.

Are these the same as Touge Factory? I would assume the TF ones would lock in to place correctly.

*Edit never mind the TF ones are the Version select, kinda sucks they dont lock in, I like these.
