V3 Triton

Hey!

I'm trying to find the best set of switchbacks and a lot of people from my old STI community recommend the V3 tritons from vleds.

Has anyone had any experience with them and how good are they?

Thanks!

I think someone from VLEDs or a member posted a vid of them in an FR-S. I like VLEDs they make good quality LEDs (one of the best in my opinion). I've purchased from them many times over the years. However those V3 are much to expensive for my blood, but if you want them they will more than likely work well. They have vids on their site with them installed in an FR-S.

Nobody because V3 seems insanely expensive when run of the mill switchback LEDs from China are $40 a pair.

Anyway, I've had V3 switchbacks as front turn signals and they were brighter than stock bulbs and for sure were brighter than any other 7443/7440 switchback LEDs bulbs on the market. I have since replaced my light harness with a JDM set, which deletes the parking light function for the front turn signals, so now I'm running on a set of non-switchback V3 amber instead.

I have switchbacks from PrecisionLED. They were $60 and seem to be "potentially" the best LED switchbacks. They probably aren't as bright as the V3's, but I think it is a better option just because of the performance to price ratio.

v3's are the only switchbacks i'm happy enough with to recommend..

i don't feel that any other multi-led switchback has the appropriate output pattern, or outputs enough lumens to correctly mimic the filament bulbs they typically replace.

Any pictures of them installed on the car? Just to get more shots of the light output and coloring?

I used them on my last car. One pair switchbacks for the front and two pair brakes for the rear. Definitely recommend them to others.

-lifetime warranty
-super high lumen output
-amazing customer support
-dimming feature for nighttime use
-interchangeable between cars (just need to buy different ~ $5 socket adapters they sell)

Just follow V-LEDs on facebook and you'll constantly see discounts and coupons you can use to help lower the price.

i have the v3 triton ambers for the front turn signal. like turbos86, i disabled the front parking for a cleaner look
its worth the price IMO, very bright even in the middle of the day when the sun is out
+no more orange "glow" when the lights are out

How difficult is the install for these? Is it simply plug & play?
