Gearshift solenoid issue

Hi all

Perplexing problem. GT86 with an autobox, the solenoid that releases the shifter when the brake is pressed failed( burnt out) and was replaced but it still won't activate on brake, so the override has to be used ( push button).

Ecu shows no issues, brake switch and main ecu changed with no difference.

Anybody experienced similar. From what I understand the solenoid is fed power straight from the main ecu. Could anyone confirm which wire on the ecu to test for continuity? Assuming the wiring is okay, any other ideas why power would not be fed?

Cheers
