Water in Sidemarker?

I ordered JDM style sidemarkers from 86_ZN6 about a year ago and I looked at my sidemarker recently and noticed it was flickering!

I looked into the sidemarker and there was a small pool of water that submerged the LED, it was pretty bad on the drivers side, not too bad on the passenger side (which wasn't blinking)

Has anyone else had the same or a similar issue? I sent a PM to 86_ZN6 but go t nothing in response so far and it's been 4-5 days.

You fix it by not buying helix. A dealer in Japan sells OEM clear side markers on eBay and you buy them for around 100

Yeah, I bought the cheap ones for a Black Friday deal. Haven't made a fuss because I know I should have bought the nice ones.

Yup, guilty of this as well. Except they were just cheaper, I bought them on ebay a while ago... I got the smoked ones. Noticed the other day some condensation... I may have a cussed a few times in response. Oh well, you get what you pay for! I may diy a better seal to help mitigate the condensation. I may also choose to ignore it.

One issue to keep track of water and electrical does not mix. This problem could cause serious damage if left unfixed

I know I did my fair share prior, as with anything I purchase and somehow didn't come across anything of this nature, then again I was looking more into fitment with panels and customer happyness. Didn't cross my mind about condensation. I even just retried a search to show myself how much of an idiot I was and no results came up. My internet skills have been put to shame it seems.
