Wrote off my Elantra, FRS time

I bought a 2013 Hyundai Elantra gt last November and regretted not buying an FRS. I thought with having my mkiv supra as a weekend toy I could deal with a boring dd.

Any who today unfortunately I believe I wrote off my Elantra when some asshole missed his exit on a snow covered highway and hit the brakes.

So Im looking to get into an FRS. I'll have about 15-16k to put down on the car. I don't mind used. Any suggestions on dealers(I'm in the hamilton area) and don't mind driving for a deal or I would buy private if it was a good deal.

Any for sale FRS floating around or suggestions where to take my business?

Merry Xmas

Alex

Or dont because this has only been a real issue with cars that have thousands of kilometers worth of track use under their belt.

In other words, not an issue at all.

Went to the scion dealership today.. they offered me a demo with 10K on it.

24,800
250 PDI
100 air tax
Less 1000 graduate discount
2.79% financing.

Do you think I have any more wiggle room with them?

Too many miles for that price...plus you should try to get a 2014 since it incorporates many small fixes over the most of the 2013 model production run

That does not sound like a deal on a 10K demo at all.

Why not a BRZ? I got a 2013 DGM limited for $1000 less than dealer invoice. It only had 7 miles on the clock.

Subaru dealers might have slightly used ones (I've seen one on trader) but they most certainly would not have a demo car due to very limited stock. Also not sure if Subaru can offer a rate that low either (Scion was offering me 1.9% financing due to overstock).

With Scion at least you get properly cut out carpet mats and rubber mats free lol!

The red demo car I tired at DVN Toyota was so beat up the shifter was vibrating like crazy at idle in traffic.

You're getting ripped off for sure.

You shouldn't be paying PDI in the first place as it's a "used car" now.

If you like better features and comfort, i would go get a sport tech and pick up a Broker.

Even though i got a great price for my FRS and have next to no bs, i think for what you pay for, the BRZ Sport Tech is a better car and you can prob get 3% APR.

Well I went to the Subaru dealership all they had were 14s and they weren't offering me anything fantastic even after talking to the sales manager.

But yes keep in mind this is Canada so MSRP is 26,400 I believe, freight and delivery would normally be 1250 so I'm saving a decent amount in my opinion. It wasn't a test drive vehicle it was the sales managers car, I'll see if I can work them down further.

Demos are technically still new cars I would be the first owner.
