broke my ht auto front lip, how2fix
okay, so i don't know what i hit or anything.. and im fairly low... but the mounting point on where the fang should be for the front lip chipped off and now a nut/bolt wont hold it in place. i was told i could jb weld it to create another surface and drill through it again or plastic weld it. anyone have any insight on plastic welding it or any other solutions besides buying a new lip?
what it looks like what it should look like |

3 ways I think
Cut a piece of black plastic and weld it to the broken place. (easy but you have to have the gun) Cut a piece of black plastic and super glue it to the broken place. (I just think about this but don't think it's a good way) Cut a piece of black plastic and rivet it to the broken place. (easy, fast, but the new plastic piece under the lip so you wont have too much space between your lip and bumper, 2 rivets wont make a big gap I think) Another one is drill 2 holes on the lip (next to the broken one) and bumper and attack bolts and nuts using the new hole. Fast and look just like new. |

you might be able to put 2x washers (top & bottom) with some glue, then try to bolt it back onto bumper.

Agree try some washers. Or even double sided tape. Or even a big self tap.
