This was a common mod on the 350Z fender emblems. It was an amber ring behind the logo which would be turned into a fender turn signal. Wiring in any light to be a turn signal is pretty easy. Some of my pervious cars had 4 turn signals: Front bumper, mirror glass, mirror cover and front fender insert
