That NEW guy. Vortech Supercharger

So stock internals. Recommendations and measurements/size? Carrillo Rods and pistons? Cranks? Cams? Fuel Pump? Injectors? One piece drive shaft? Mostly looking to keep it all just a couple name brand deal so I can get everything ordered mostly all at the same time. Not looking to get a lot of horsepower, but have a well balanced supercharged car. Currently have Power By MAX full adjustable coilover suspension and Cusco almost every single brace available you can think of under the car. Greddy Evo3 exhaust and HKS EL headers.

Thanks guys! Pretty new to the forums.

Oh yes and supercharger was put on by drift office and dyno tuned as well! Thanks again Bob!

Again any input is welcome. Thanks again

So... let me translate this from gibberish.

You already have vortech, a bunch of other expensive goodies, headers and exhaust, and you have dealt with a reputable tuner for the instal and tune. I.e. your pockets are deep and open.

SHOULD'NT YOU CONSULT YOUR FUCKING TUNER WHO IS A LEGITIMATE PROFESSIONAL ON THESE MATTERS INSTEAD OF US RETARDS ON THE INTERNET?

Well, you stated nothing about your goals other than a built engine, a garbage question gets a garbage response. The only info you provided is that you have a tuner/shop and a good one at that, and that you like to spend money.

Meaning talk to your fucking tuner about your goals, hand him a stack of cash and let them do work.

This platform isn't exactly mature enough that theres a plethora of options for built motors.

Full blown will sell you a built block so will crawford, there aren't any cams/crank yet. There are cf driveshafts out, they're around 900-1k+.

Searching or asking a fully formed question rather than some first trimester aborted pile of shit would net you considerable results.

They sell smaller pulleys so id just buy the full blown block and throw the smallest pulley I can on it. Or maybe call vortech and go with a bigger S/C, they sell larger units. Maybe get flex fuel and do e85?

Ive seen people do 350-360 on e85 on the stock unit with a smaller pulley, im sure with a built motor and a bigger S/C unit from vortech you can do more than that.

Seriously though, the person to point you in the right direction would be your tuner, not internet nobodies.

Thanks! Just want to stick with the stock unit and deal with what I got. Heard mixed problems about using smaller pulleys. Something about belts snapping? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Alright I'll dig a little deeper. Thanks though. Still getting used to this forum and it doesn't help using a phone app. Lol

why spend the money on a built motor if all you want is mid 300s?

If your not willing to jump up to the bigger vortech unit or get a smaller pulley theres not much you can do and Id say the built motor is a waste

E85 would be the only big power gain you would get at that point, unless headwork/cams prove to do wonders with the vortech kit.

Personally id do this

FlexFuel kit
Injectors
Pump
Pulley
Tune

1500 dollars and a dam good chunk more power, if thats not enough look into built motor+ the bigger vortech unit.
