overplayed, heavy & slow compared to the 33 and 32 GTRs. Much rather have an R32 GTR.

See I was having the same exact feeling.... it's become damn near a cult following for it (like the F40).. Only problem....

now that you mention it, i think the gtr (and even our frs) is going to suffer the same fate as many cars that contend out of their price range. people keep hearing "its the best car for the money" and sooner or later that ends up "its the best car." the gtr has no business in the same conversation as the f40 just like the brz has no business in the same conversation as the cayman just like the civic has no business in the same conversation as a lot of other cars etc.

really? i thought the only reason the r34 ended up in 2f2f was because of popular demand. it was kinda the hey-look-ive-made-it car for tuners.
