What kind of amp and where to install... ? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

The car is away for the winter and I'm planning on upgrading the audio before spring. I have an Alpine PDX5 5-channel amp with 4x JL C3 6.5's and an 8" JL sub in my 4-Runner. I'm wanting something similar for the BRZ.

Where is a good spot to mount an amp and what would be a good quality 5 channel amp that would fit there? I'm thinking of an Alpine PDXv9 under the passenger seat, but I'm not sure if it will fit. I want everything to be hidden.

Not sure its too practical for the front speakers, but i've got my amp for my sub under the trunk mat.

After poking around the passenger seat, I doubt I'll be able to fit anything decent under there.

I took a look under the trunk mat and it looks like I could probably cut away some of the styrofoam in the upper corner of the trunk and mount something there. For people that have mounted an amp there, what fits? I'm thinking around 9"x8"x3" should fit?
