2014 Bespoke w/ Aha problem

So I installed my new head unit with nav extension box and everything works beautifully except for the fact that the USB port charger does not work. I checked for secure connections on the back of the head unit and everything was snug. Im stumped!!

Any ideas?

I came from the base stereo, and after some quick research, i found out that the base unit uses "USB 2.0 full speed" while the new head unit uses "USB 2.0 high speed"..... after a quick google, full speed nets 12 mb/s while high speed is 480 mb/s....

Now I just looked up the USB specifications for the 2013 Bespoke and it is USB 2.0 High speed. So I am assuming those who have upgraded from the base stereo are the ones having this problem?

i've had all 3 head units and the 2014 is the only 1 that doesn't let me use my USB though so that can't b it. it's gotta be a 2014 exclusive issue
