Brake pad suggestions?

So I will be taking my FR-S to its first track event next month which I plan on doing on a pretty regular basis and I am looking for suggestions that anyone may have for a good brake pad that is still good for street use.

How much experience do you have on track? What tires are you running?

And what track? Brakes requirements for a track like RRR is different than RA , AMP, Etc.

I've not tracked my car, but the https://www.winmaxusa.com/Articles.asp?ID=251 Winmax W3s I've been running for the last few weeks DD and AutoX seem to work great. Smooth, easy to modulate, not too much noise or dust. Easy to get them up to operating temps, nice bite.

I have around 5 track events under my belt but this will be the first with the FR-S and I'll just be on some sticky summer street tires (Cooper Zeon RS3-S)

What pads have you used in the past? What car(s) were they on?

It has been a few years and I can't remember for the life of me what they were but they were on an Audi A4

I recently put on some EBC Reds and they were excellent around AMP on a stock car with rbf600. Very little noise once bedded and had a great bite.

Based on what you're saying, I'd recommend you give Project Mu HC+800 a try. It's a hybrid pad that you can street, but will be able to take moderate track abuse as well. It's also very affordable

You'll fade em, depending on your experience level. Several members here were fading them, even on the Essex AP Racing BBK, including myself. I was cooking them in 1 lap.

Did I read these were discontinued or something? Am I just crazy? Considering these for some Road Atlanta track days next year
