Updated infor on cars arival
*misspell INFO on post tidal
![]() Production date of car 4/4/2012 Ship leaving port estimate 4/24/2012 coming in on a TMC ship in Benicia California 5/7/2012 looks like price will be 25,161 without tax, that includes Destination. Carpeted trunk mat, rim locks and rear bumper applique do cost more over initial base MSRP but are standard extras. I am guessing you can order without but are coming on mine. looking at documents i did not even realize that the motor is VVT-i no prices on any of the extras like TRD stuff, but the rep at the dealer says it would be cheaper if you order the car with everything you want from the factory. Because the dealer would charge for installs and he does not believe the factory would. And the car can not be ordered with any extras until official releases and prices have been set. ![]() ![]()

Good info, thanks! Hope there are some BRZs on that boat too. Now where was that link to track vessels on google maps or something?
UPD: nevermind. TMC = Toyota Motor Corp, so no real vessel name yet. |

because I've talked to many dealerships (both Scion and Subaru) and they said that Subaru dealerships are getting their cars first, then Scion would get there's shortly after.

Dealer said he believes Scions are supposed to be coming in on Toyota docks, and BRZ at Subaru docks, and that's why BRZ have more varied destination fees. But he is not 100% on that.
I work right across from a Subaru dock and ill try to scope the place a little on Sunday when I get to work. The Toyota dock is just one city from me, but I would need a telescope to see that spot. But I myself would tend to believe that if a particular city/metro area has just a Toyota dock BRZ's would come on a TMC ship. I also think it depends on how far each dealer is from the normal delivery network and since there are more Toyota's they may have a larger and quicker network. |
