MAPerformance 3" catback/headerback in the works!

Hey guys! Along with the release of our catless/resonated 2.5 and 3" front pipe http://www.maperformance.com/maperfo...p-ft86-fp.html we are also working on a full 3" cat-back system for the FRS/BRZ. This will use a mini muffler in the mid pipe, and larger oval muffler in the rear. with 4" hand welded 304 stainless tips. We will have a V-band section that will allow you to either use your OEM front pipe (2.5" to 3") or aftermarket 2.5" front pipe, or a straight 3" design that will work with our 3" front pipe for N/A or FI set ups. Here are some teaser pics. More will follow once once we get it completed.

Do you think you'll make a 3" over pipe too?

With a single wall tip that large are we going to have to worry about melting the plastic on the bumper?

We are for sure making a 2.5" overpipe. We are looking into a 3", but we are concerned about the issues other people have had with it rubbing. Its getting looked into however.

Not at all. There is actually plenty of space in between the tip and the bumper.

Some of our front pipe options.

Catless/resonated to stock exhaust or 2.5"
Catless/resonated to work with our 3" cat-back
Full 3" version with V-band to our 3" cat-back

Yes. That is next. We are not sure if we are going to make separate ones, or if they will be built in with our turbo manifold. Still trying to determine if its worth it with all of these issues with aftermarket overpipes rattling and rubbing.
