BRZ GT300 Official car for Gran Turismo 6

Scroll down to #107

http://www.gtplanet.net/gt6-car-list/

Now, I just hope the exhaust note is the exact one as the real version. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Technically the BRZ is in GT5 as DLC: http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt5/dlc/brz/, so I would not call it new to the series, even though the 'official' released list does. Also there are pictures in the link, don't think they'll change much on the car, I just hope they have the limited, or the spoiler, bc I want to drive my car around the virtual tracks.

Here is a more accurate list of the 'new' cars coming to GT6 & the few that are not returning. http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thread...shlist.260943/

Actually, the OP is referring to the GT300 version used in the Super GT competition which is not in GT5. I've been waiting for this car to be available. Once I get GT6, my first order of business will be to acquire this car. You can see a glimpse of it in action if you skip to 0:39 in this clip:

Why do they have it listed as a MY12 model?

Really looking forward to GT6.

GT5 was where I first saw and fell in love with the FT-86 concept which set the plans in motion for me to purchase the BRZ 2 years later when it became available.

So cool that Toyota and Polyphony Digital partnered on putting such a sexy concept car in my video game, and the concept simulation became awesome reality.

The C7 test mule free DLC did the same thing to hype me up before the C7 reveal, gotta love Gran Turismo for that.

My B. I saw the exhaust tips comment & immediately thought he just meant difference between US & elsewhere BRZs.

I loved the FT-86 concept in GT5, probably one of my top used cars (behind credit farming cars & GTRs, I saw a BRZ at the Philly Auto Show in 2011 & bought one in September have been driving it for over a month as a DD & never made the connection between my BRZ & the FT-86 concept. Guess I stopped playing GT5 well before I started looking for new cars with my previous car's lease ending.

The original GT5 FT-86 concept was already great, but the GT5 FT-86 II concept was what I remember really giving me that funny feeling in the pants area and made me follow the GT-86/BRZ development from then on:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yt1ztvzCLeQ"]Toyota FT-86 II Concept Action in Gran Turismo 5 Trailer - YouTube[/ame]

That feeling has stayed with me even now that I have the production version, so cool that Polyphony Digital works with automakers to get us excited about cool concept cars (something that the competition doesn't do).

Looking forward to enjoying GT6 just as much.

I think I'm more excited for this GPS based map editor than anything else.

Cool! Maybe one of these days I will get back into Gran Turismo. That's a huge list of cars. I bet they sound great on a nice home theater setup.

Cool, I just can't get into racing sim. I build a whole setup with a g27 base, reverse pedals, Nelson springs, and the works and just couldn't get into it. It was fun at first but, after a week or so the novelty wore off it just takes up space.

That and the shifter was garbage feeling.
