RCE Tarmac Springs

When installing the RCE TARMAC springs on Koni struts with HVT hats and adjustable lower control arms, has anyone seen a rise in height on the rear end? Like to 28"?

Also, how did you tell the difference between the front and rear springs? Is it possible to install them reversed (Rears on Front, and Fronts on Rear)?

Make sure the rear Konis spring perch hat thing is facing down. I installed my upside down the first time which made my rear end higher. Made my car look odd and sort of like a drag racing car. Rear springs have less number of coils in the spring if I remember correctly. Plus they should have a label on it with an R for rear and F for front.

Now that you say that, and I look at the pictures (I'm at the office without the vehicle) the rear hats are facing up. That would explain why the rear install was so difficult compared to the front.

Wondered why the hats facing up didn't seem right when the mechanic put them on.

Mods, you can lock this thread. I'll make a writeup for a sticky or something to help anyone doing this suspension change with pictures.
