Hanchey front camber plates

http://www.hancheyvehicletech.com/pr...10TM-FT86.html

Has anyone had any experience with these? I noticed them on Edmunds long term test review of the FR-S and thought they were interesting. I would prefer keeping the stock height and might consider these.

Any comments on the design? Is this a better solution than just camber bolts?

I have 'em. I have no idea if they're better than camber bolts or not, but they are a solid, quality part, and so far, I haven't had any problem with them. There is no increase in NVH that I can tell either.

The $409 price they list, is that per unit or for the pair?

They're a good strong design. Quiet and non-raising them makes them a good choice for most people.

Here's a little review I did a few months ago and I'm still completely satisfied with them. The main benefit of choosing plates over bolts is it allows you to add negative camber without altering the tire to spring strut clearance. With wider wheels and tires the bolts may cause rubbing on the perch depending on the width and offset. You also get the added benefit of the additional caster built into the design.

I had no idea these offered extra caster, how much? I thought Vorshlaggs were only ones that did.

I just ordered some of these, I'll re-post in this thread about the caster gain after installation and alignment. Maybe I'll update about durability if I can get them onto the car before October 1st.

They add caster by shifting the mount point back a bit. Almost all the camber plates add caster, but very few have adjustable caster.

After a more than a year, nearly 15,000 miles, a full season of autox and a track day, the HVT camber plates are still working fantastic! They're still quiet, compliant and the finish is holding up the the elements nicely. I remain completely satisfied with the quality and performance of the Hanchey plates!

Its pretty cool that when I called HVT Thursday to get my order placed the guy that answered the phone was none other than Brian Hanchey. Cooler still he talked to me about the plates and even offered to send me some info about the parts from back when they were in the development phase.

they're real nice. I have them on the ohlins which helped it lower the height so it wouldn't sit like a 4x4.
