Vs GS400
It was a good year and a half run, but I had to give up the FRS so I could go back to school full time. (then when i'm in my career i'll get a new one)
I wanted to ease the debt quite a bit and also have a car I wouldn't hate to downgrade to. I chose a 2000 GS400 platinum. I know these cars are completely different but you can't be picky when you trade in w/ negative equity. 8.5 grand w/ less than 100k miles are there any pros I can look forward to or was this just a brutal downgrade in every way? |

Well that V8 is an upgrade/downgrade depending how you look at it

I wouldn't say its a complete downgrade. If anything it was a lateral move thats how I see it. The GS400 is not as sporty as the FRS. I've driven my friend's GS400 plenty of times. I think the power will give you a smile on your face. Giving up handling and fuel economy for power and comfort.
That's not to say you can't put some stiffer spring rates/coil overs on the GS400 and make it sporty as well. Either way, you'll have fun in a GS400, I know I did whenever i drove my friends lol. |
