How much did you pay for your used FR-S?

hi sorry put the original thread in the wrong area, but here we go again:

Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a used FR-S(will be buying from dealership and financing through the certified program) and was wondering how much you got yours for? If you could give price/mileage that'd be great!

i was looking more for what people were paying at dealership, since I'll be financing whatever is left after trade-in with the 1.9% APR and certified warranty.

Thanks though!

Most dealers will be looking to get NADA retail. Add 6-10% for your taxes/tags/fees.

You might want to consider a private sale if you can. The warranty transfers, and you can usually save a few thousand.

When I picked up my 10-series there was a certified used 2013 standard FR-S with less than 10,000 miles on it that was $23K even.

I see multiple certified used FRS models near me for $22K and change and none of them have over 5K miles.

I'm thinking I'll wait until the winter, there are a couple in my area that have been sitting in the lot for over 40 days, some up to 60. That plus the fact if people want to buy one in PA in the winter, you'll have to buy a set of winter tires and get them mounted. Do you guys think the price of used FRS/BRZ will drop to 20k? So I"m assuming these cars won't really move during the winter. Lowest I'm seeing is 21,900 in Philly.

I think we'll see consistent $20k from clean examples in a little over a year, with some high mileage or modified examples this summer. That's being optimistic, realistically $20k is summer 2015 in my opinon. And that's private party, not necessarily dealerships this varies by area, might be worth traveling North a few states where they are not nearly as popular.

If $2k is enough to make you wait 4+ months you should probably take a good look at your finances (as it sounds like you'd be willing to buy right now if it was $20k) and make sure you've accounted for the possible increase in insurance rates and fuel costs (it's too fun not to drive).

Best of luck.

Cheapest I have seen was for 21K miles and a clear title selling at $19,250. That was before taxes and title.

I have seen a couple salvage titles for lower than that. One was $17,500 with all repairs done.
