Overpipe, does it increase loudness?

Didn't come up with much on my search.

Anyways, does it increase sound any?

I ask because after the uel headers i put in, anything that increases sound is a bit much. Its loud as is. I had to put on a resonated front pipe because it was loud as hell.

I wanted to upgrade the overpipe becasue its the last piece thats stock, so i was wondering if it increases sound.

I don't think it will but I'm not 100%. However a good op should improve flow and might have a larger diameter. These factors might change the tone and/or volume. Hopefully someone w/ experience will chime in.

The front pipe increases loudness more I think. I put on my 3" downpipe and midpipe and my volume skyrocketed, lol.

I just installed the Nameless overpipe/midpipe catted combo. Loudness is increased a slight amount if you're outside the car, but you won't even be able to notice until you're over 5k rpm and even then it's pretty minimal. It's not something a cop would notice. What I wasn't expecting was the increase in volume inside the cabin; it's definitely noticeable there, most likely due to the fact that there's a lot less metal in the aftermarket units than the goofy factory pipes. I do like it though, sounds a bit racier, particularly on a good downshift.

does it have a resonator? is the rest of your exhaust stock?

i haven't decided what to do regarding headers and catback yet, but this part is high on my wish list

Sorry for not clarifying-

1- No, no resonator
2- Yes, my exhaust is bone stock other than the Nameless pipe.
