Photo/Camera experts, can you explain this?

OK, first off the story. I parked my car retarded as an inside joke for my sister. My moms new boyfriend always parks like a **** so I did this. I took at pic and text her for the LOLz

After sending the pic I looked at it and noticed something weird. My neighbor has some halloween decoration outside that didn't show in the pic... So creepy, anyone know why?

First pic, what i sent.

Second pic, few days after I took for comparison. Decoration clearly visible.

Third pic, decoration circled in case you missed it.

With my experience with cameras, i think i know why.

What type of camera are you using? But either way it shouldn't matter since it's daylight and the shutter speeds will be fast either way.

The focal points and aperture play a big part in this. When taking the photo with certain colours (light colours), various things occur.

In this case, it's obvious that what you encountered are ghosts.

you might have dimensia or a misaligned perception of time, perhaps your memories are confused with reality.

aside from post-processing (in a darkroom or on the PC) there is no way to hide a stationary object from a camera.

and even there was wind, you'd still see something

so i'll revert to my original statement...

humans often see things that arn't there, a week doesnt' go by where i don't notice things that arn't there when i do a double-take

most don't pay attention though because it's usually trivial

No they have been up for like a month. I took the pic and noticed they weren't there. Then I got took another later on to see if maybe for some reason the camera wasn't picking them up.

Besides, the van isn't there when the decoration isn't there, lol
