Brooklyn NY
Hello guys,
There is this church in brooklyn NY sunset park area that has been here for a long time and i respect them. They had cameras on their church 24/7. Today i found out my dads car got ticketed and keyed(he has to repaint for his job now...) This church had recently put up a BIG cross in front of their church with a white piece of clothing on top of it. They put up 2 NO PARKING signs on the block just recently without warning.(It looks legal but im not sure if it is) THEY ALSO took down their cameras. When this all happened, my dads car was there for 24 hours and got ticketed + keyed. What can i do without looking like an asshole?

Nothing and don't park there anymore.
This is why we can't have nice things. |

Damn that sucks, I assume it must have been some kids who keyed your father's car. Either way some people have no respect anymore. And just like #87, its best you or anyone for that matter stay away from that spot so that kind of thing doesn't happen again.

It's tough in your situation. If you have park your new frs street side in NYC, chances are it could be keyed or damaged by young kids. Heck, even in an apartment parking lot this could happen.
Sorry, not very helpful here but I understand the feeling. |
