Rust-Proofing Gunk

Hey guys. When I bought my car a few months ago, I had it rust-proofed from the Toyota dealership. A lot of that yellow gunk from the process has been washed/rubbed off with use, but there are still some covered spots (trunk gutter, fuel door area inside) where there's still a hair amount of it. I'm not sure if I should leave this stuff on as protection, or should I just clean it out? I ask because dirt seems to be attracted and is sticking to the stuff, which bugs me whenever I put gas in the car.

If you opted for the dealer rustproofing and then strip it off, they don't have to uphold your warranty. Just FYI. Plus you have to go back for annual inspections at the dealer for them to uphold the warranty on it. Might be good to read your manual on what you bought before you strip it off.
