What is the stock shift knob on the frs?

Had the car about a month, I was looking for a replacement for the crappy rubber shift knob in my car, and now I'm not sure my car has the right one. I can't find a picture of the knob I have when I search "Frs shift knob" and I thought it was odd that it was the only piece of chrome in the car.

This is what came in my car:

This is the other knob I have seen, is this from a BRZ?

The interior pictures on scion's website show something like the second picture, but they are of an automatic.

The first picture doesn't look like the OEM FRS shift knob. The second picture is from an FRS. The BRZ doesn't looks like the 2nd picture minus the red stitching.

Got it new, it was transferred from a different dealer to get the color I wanted. Guess I'll be giving them a call tomorrow.

Brand new car and they gave you that knob? O.o the 2nd picture is the frs one. The first one I've never seen before

get an aftermarket knob, the oem knob patterns hat tends to fail anyways, it would be cool if they buy you something like twm abrams m1 shift knob

That looks like the knob from a second gen tC and it makes the FR-S knob look somewhat decent.

That is one of the ugliest shift knob i've ever seen. I would be complaining about that. Someone at one of the dealerships (probably the original dealership it was at) switched knobs on you.

Do you know if your car was a floor model at the other dealership it came from? Often times they unscrew the shift knobs so they don't get stolen. Maybe they put the tC one back on by accident?
