I want a dry filter, but I don't which one to get with so many different brands. I know I am not going to get a lot of HP increase, but I would like to try one. Any recommendations?

I have the aFe Pro Dry S drop in filter in my car. I don't know exactly what you want to know. It fits, it's easy to clean, it's well built. I couldn't tell a difference between it and the stock filter, but maybe my "butt dyno" isn't as finely calibrated as some of the folks on this forum...(:

Zeta Performance Stage 2 dry filter. It does the job and it was well priced. They'll all give you the same mild top end gain with a little bit of intake noise so, it's up to you.

I don't think any of them will give you a noticeable gain in MPG.

It's between the Zeta or aFe. I cant decide. My first option was HKS. What are your thoughts on the oil ones?

Avo drop in filters are dry and washable. I'm thinking about going with the Avo filter + Perrin inlet hose.

I've had K&N filters in all my other vehicles and never had a problem with Amy of them. No "oil on the MAF" or anything like that. My Mustang had 193,000 miles on it when I sold it, and it had a K&N in it from literally the dealer parking lot. My F250 diesel has 247,000 miles and still counting, all on a K&N filter.

I'd personally stick with oil as they are re-washable unless you find a dry that is rewashable of course.

The AFE seems to be the most popular.

Just so that you're aware...some dry filters (like Cosworth and Apexi) are not washable. aFe and AVO are.
