speedfactory RAGE package 1

So I installed the rage #1 package. Sorry, I didn't record a video, but here are the first impressions for both installation AND driving.

First we'll go with installation. So, getting the original exhaust was straightforward, although, I did have a problem with the overpipe on both sides. To be more specific, couldn't get one(on both sides) of the bolts to come off without torquing it off to the point where it breaks, (on both sides, mind you.) Might just be mine, but beware.

So after breaking the bolts off the over pipe, the removal of said over pipe required the engine to be lifted about 2 inches. This is easy as there are only 2 bolts holding down the engine. Use the oil pan as your lift point with a 2x4. Keep the engine lifted so you can install the new overpipe easily.

So the long pipe does not come with a gasket. You have to use your old one(at least I did.) On the other side, where the long pipe meets the muffler, no problem.

Performancewise, I have noticed that the torque dip is gone. I can no longer tell where it is. The sound is MUCH louder...I like it and I just took a 4 hour trip with it...So it's preferability. It lowers the normal sound from what rpm's you're used to hearing. I hit redline before I realized what tone I hear from stock...

If there are any more questions PM me and I'll answer them promptly! Or reply and I'll answer them here. Whatever you prefer.
