Spring Install in the NOVA/DC area.

I thought I could wait for a few months to order some springs and get my car lowered. I can't. The wheel gap on our cars is terrible. I must but springs asap.

But first I wanted to see if anyone knew of shops that do installs on the cheap ,or if anyone has a garage, tools, and wants to help me out in exchange for beer and pizza?

I have done spring and coilover installs on my last 2 cars so i know what I'm doing for the most part, but where i live now I have no garage to work on my car.

Help end the suffering and save my car from this wheel gap.

You could buy Mach V springs, which we use on our car, and Mach V could install them for you. It's a short drive out to our shop.

The drop looks nice on that brz. What are the specs on them? I think I am looking to go a little lower and was considering the h&r super sports. Can you give me an estimate on the install? Thanks.

Details are HERE.

I would not go lower than about a 1" drop on the stock shocks. You start to run out of shock travel and the car will tend to bottom out.

$270 for install, $99 for a four-wheel alignment, which is recommended after installing springs.

I've been running Mach V springs for months now, over 10k miles on them. (That's my WRB one on the site :P) Awesome awesome awesome. I forget they're on there in the sense of no real noticable increase in ride harshness. It's where the car was meant to sit height-wise. Corners are stupid fast even for stock tires, and the highway floating is completely gone. Worth every penny.

+1 to Mach V. Good guys over there.

If you want to make a really long drive out, go to the guys at RCE in MD. I have the RCE Yellows installed on my BRZ (self installed) and love them.

Took my car to Ptunning about a week ago to get my springs installed. Awesome guys, and great work. Highly recommend them.

$270 is for labor. Springs are sold separately. Find our springs HERE.
