Pulling manifold: need new gasket?
If I pull the exhaust manifold, will I need a new gasket or can I reuse? I've got 7k miles.

I think most would say to get new gaskets to be on the safe side.

The torque on the bolts/flange is what distorts it, so it may not be a 100% seal the second or third time around. That said we've re-used the gaskets per customers' requests in the past and rarely is there an issue with 7k on the clock.

Um, mine are oe & been on and off a few times, just do not over torque with gargantuan strength since we are all so strong and our cars are all super built, and you can reuse just fine

Now if that's not good enough, I give not a single fuck to argue with you over gaskets. |
