Dealer Praise

Is there a place to pay tribute to a very good experience with a Toyota Dealer, but specifically, the Shop Foreman? I'll go ahead and do it here, and this can be moved if necessary.
My '12 delivered FR-S has had an oil leak at the plate with three bolts since new, and I've finally taken it to dealer in Raleigh, Leith Toyota, to get fixed. Bobby Cyr, the shop foreman (and owner of a red FR-S), took a personal interest in my car, and worked with me to get this fixed, without drama or trying to shift the blame. I have the feeling he would be the same with any customer with a problem, but can only comment on my situation. There was some communication involved with Toyota Corporate, because they had not seen this problem before, though I pointed out its occurance on this board. I was given a loaner car, and updates from Bobby anytime there was something I needed to know. The car was tested for leakage, fixed, re-tested to make sure it was really fixed, with Bobby himself taking it for a drive to make sure everything was ok. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with the service, and professionalism of Toyota, and Bobby Cyr, in particular. I would highly recommend him, and the Leith dealership, to anyone with issues with their FR-S, and for any other services. Just my $.02.

In my experience dealing with a dealer is a crapshoot. I had great service then next time be awful from the same dealer.

Glad that you had a positive experience.
