Davis Research $100 survey for Scion FRS

I recieved a phone call last night from some dude claiming to be offering 100 bucks for completing a survey on the FRS. He said he was from Davis Research and the company seems to be legit. The call however was from a private number and the email I got doesnt have any contact info other than click this link, fill out survey.

I'm a bit sckeptical....Has anyone else recieved this offer?

I had a dollar mailed to me from a company that wanted me to do a review/survey....

I've also been a part of review/survey groups that got paid upwards of 150 dollars.

I would say a quick google search should tell you if it is legit or not, but these types of companies DO exist

Haven't received the offer myself.
This guy's probably having a hard time giving away money because of all the scammers around these days. But I think as long as you don't put any personal information you should be good. Worth a try for 100 bucks haha

but how would they scam you when you're just doing a survey?

Of course it's a scam when they ask for personal information, but just filling in circles, answering basic questions?

That's what I was thinking too. Not sure how the survey's work to be honest. Maybe they send a $100 bill or five 20's in an envelope? or maybe a check...

It could be a scam if the link is a virus. Other than that, it might be legit, just click cautiously.

I was thinking more along the line of some sort of phishing attack. Wouldnt be far fetched given my line of work. I did however contact the company directly and endd up completing the survey. It didnt ask for any more information other than what they already had on books.

There was a strange question in the survey that wanted to know where I had personal info stored. I.e banking sites, social, shopping, etc. I chose not to answer that one.

I took one directly from Scion and it was seriously a half hour long. They wanted to know EVERYTHING that happened during the purchase. No type of reward though, lol.

sounds fishy, I personally would not have done the survey.

Let us know when you get the money...

On that note, since my car is a special order/benefit that my dad has through Toyota, the car is in his name even though I'm paying him for it. They sent the survey to him and he basically answered it, "I don't know, it's my son's car."

They are a legit company and very good at what they do. If you're interested in having a voice in how FR-S/Scion/Toyota markets their products while making a quick buck, you should participate.

They contacted me and I took the beginning portion of the survey... However I didn't qualify I guess due to the number of vehicles I own.
