So the other day I received and installed my studio catback. I had no problems with the install except that the fitment of the tips are a little off. One tip is higher than the other and also the left tip sticks out further than the right.
My question is .. With the stock front pipe do you use the donut gasket or the flat gasket.??? the reason why im asking is because the donut gasket makes the exhaust separate from the front pipe about a quarter inch or less. I will like someone to confirm this for me before I go and jack up my car again. Thanks in advance!! Other than that the exhaust sounds great!!! Nice deep tone even with the stock front pipe. |

Use the doughnut gasket. It will seal the connection and allow a little bit of movement.

Seriously doubt that. See if you can "adjust" the hangers and any joints to get the tips lined up the way you want. Adding a front pipe will not change a bent hanger or improperly aligned joint.

I used hangers from autozone to get my tips aligned properly on the tsudo catback.

Loosen the connections, align the system, then tighten front to rear. Might need some new exhaust hangers to tighten up the fitment.

I'm having the same problem with the tsudo catback. The left muffler tip sticks out more than the right. Anyone know which exhaust hangers will make them even up? It's a tough life being a perfectionist lol I just can't leave it like that

Mine still aren't perfect. But I bought one of each size AutoZone had in stock. I'm not sure what combination I ended up using.

btw, if you are using the j2 front pipe, I used the flat gasket, no donut, and I'm not getting any leaks. It's really up to you though

I have the Tsudo front pipe and catback on its way. I'll let you know how it fits.

It's a great sounding kit. A more aggressive sounding g35 type of sound. I think you will like.

Try bending the hanger on the exhaust itself. I'm not sure if it's possible, but what the heck right.
