How loud can the car get with the stock muffler?

Say you modded every other exhaust pipe except the stock axle back, how much louder can the car get with that on it?

Rev Header + stock axle back = Stealth

I'm not sure there is a way to accurately depict how loud it can get over the internet, however, I can say with confidence it will be louder. More so at WOT then at idle.

Pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear. Thinking of using the stock muffler again. Always toying with ideas...

decibel app. Im interested in this thread. I want to do headers but keep the oem catback because my BRZ is a DD. I want some extra power and torque but not the hassle of drone, cops, and stupid street racers. Oh and BOXER RUMBLE!

Yeah my muffler delete is too loud and it seems unreasonable to use it to customize 1 quieter when i really should start from the headers and go back anyway...

I have only the stock axle back only and it sounds VERY stock and very quiet. Granted the turbo is probably muffling a lot of noise. The blow off valve and road noise are definitely louder than the exhaust.

I plan on going with a UEL, Perrin over pipe and a catted front pipe, should sound very similar to this. Sound be done in 8 days. Not at all obnoxious.

The UEL header sounded nice! Definitely different even though the muffler is still there. Sweet. Maybe ill just eat a little $$$ and sell my muffler delete and use whatever I get back for some nice 4" tips and start saving some serious dime instead of cheaping out all the time.
