Front license plate question

I was wondering if anyone had installed their front license plate without drilling any holes and without removing the bumper? I searched and found a pretty sophisticated way someone posted of doing this with magnets, however, I don't wanna go through the trouble of taking the bumper off. I was thinking something along the lines of using cable ties or something of the sort? Also, I'd prefer if I could keep it centered as I find offset license plates not too aesthetically pleasing. Any advise or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Id say use 3M VHB tape, done deal, doesnt move.

that thing has holding power of up to like 5 lbs per square inch or something like that lol, its some ridiculous number, as long as you let the bond cure right.

At the end of the day its not permanent and still removable.

What about putting it in your car in front of the windshield? I feel that the magnets might not be able to support the license plate after a while.

Not only is that illegal in most places, but can you imagine how much it would hurt if you get into an accident and the plate slices off half your face?

I've been doing that for a year now and I am perfectly fine.. I also tuck it in well so that it does not move when I am drifting.

Edit: just read the part about not liking the reallocation... not much option there, magnets are not going to work as the hood is aluminum and the front cover is plastic. You either drill your bumper or use the tow hook slot. If someone has a clever idea that nullifies this, please share.

Just make sure you heat up the tape and clean off the area very well prior to bonding. You can find many strong 3M double sided tape at Walmart

I did the magnet one too. The bumper is not that hard to take off!

I really don't get what everyone has against screwing the plate directly to the bumper as it was designed. Are you going to ever take it off? If not then it really doesn't matter.

My grumpy confusion aside, if you use double sided tape, make sure you first bend your plate to the exact curve of the bumper. Also, pre measure and mark points to help you get it on centered and level when you do attach it.

I think it would be cool if somebody were to get a vinyl sticker printed roughly the same size as a plate, with their license number on it, then just stick that on the front bumper.

I just ordered relocation kit by grimmspeed too, it is so easy to install and adds some flavor to the car. ~$70.

Look at user StockySnail's pic:
