Hi folks
Got a shopping cart run into the side of my passenger side door.
Anyone ever used pdr to get it fixed? And normally what's the turn around time for this?

I got a door ding fixed, and lots of hail damage. For the door ding, I just watched the guy do it. Was about 20-30 minutes. He sticks a long metal pole with a hook on the end, or similar, and just pushes against the metal until it is flush again. There's also glue pull for areas they can't get to. I thought he was going to punch that hook right through the metal since it's so thin. It was flexing like a balloon.

I just got my entire car fixed that way. The results were sweet, one could never tell my car suffered from some bad hail damage. That said, it is not cheap, it cost around $2200 to get my car all fixed up (insurance did cover it doe). It's a good option, to be sure.

I had a small crease in the driver's door of my Cayman (it kills me how some people aren't careful...), and the procedure was pretty much as Kevin described: hooked metal pole inserted into door via window slot, lots of painful looking manipulation (I was pretty nervous, I have to admit), but at the end of the day, you can't tell at all that there was ever a crease there. I can't argue with the results.

EDIT: Just noticed you're in Boulder too Skitter - who did you go with? I went to Dents By Hand on Arapahoe, and I was very happy with the results.

And it wasn't due to carelessness. These people were jealous. To have that impressions into my door. Thanks guys for commenting. If you folks have before and after pics would greatly appreciate it!

I've got the dent wizard protection. I will keep you guys updated how it works. I'm just so bummed my car got molested today. Just so irritated on how people could be such @$$h0le$!!!

I would think it would be a few hundred, yes. My cayman (small crease in the door, as I said, plus a tiny dent above the rear wheel) cost $100, and this looks like maybe 3 or 4 times as much work as mine was.

Also, that sucks. I can't even imagine the feeling walking out to my car and seeing that
