Lightbulb Ways you COULD get of out a ticket

I got out of a 38 km over ticket today, and I think it's partly because of a couple steps I took:

Pull off: saw him brake and start to turn around once I passed, pulled off right away without him even flashing me so he didn't have to boot 2k back the way he came to pull me over. ( 95% of the time you know he's pulling out/turning around for you )

Kill engine: cops get nervous on traffic stops, killing the engine as he gets out so he can hear it turn off might put his mind at ease your not gunna run, or try anything sketchy that would lead to running.

And ofcourse, i was respectful, apologetic, etc.

So happy I didn't get that ticket thismorning as my insurance is already over $400.

Now the point of this post: what other little things can you do when your looking at a ticket to possibly grease the cop up a bit?

and if you need to reach for something ask permission, tell them where you are reaching and what for. Like I had my wallet in my bag. My license is in the bag on the back seat, can I get it for you?

I find being in the military usually works. If it ever failed, I'd definitely resort to flashing my boobs. That would probably work too, but I've never had to try it, so I can't say for sure.

I always pull over right away, kill the engine, roll the window down, and have my license and insurance card ready before he even gets out the car. I've had practice though...

I've been pulled over 30+ times. I had to go to traffic school one time and I got off of everything else.

A lot of that is due to understanding the situation and the psychology of the officer. If it's a regular police officer, he's looking for certain things and will often let you go with a warning if you present yourself well. Highway Patrol? You're going to get a ticket.

Put your keys on your roof, helps the officer feel more safe. He knows you can't go anywhere then.

State trooper? Don't bother.

I think Gabriel Iglesias said it best. If you can make the cop laugh, you got a chance.
