Tint on windshield question

Hey guys, for those of you that got tint in the windshield, how are you dealing with the stickers (inspection/registration) and the Rear View mirror.

I'm planning to get 10% all around, with 30% windshield. However, I'm not sure how to deal with the inspection/registration stickers (haven't put them yet). Should put them before, then tint on top? cut around the stickers? or should I put the tint first, then the stickers? will they be visible?

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

You'll have to remove any stickers before tinting (or rather, ask the tint place if they can remove and reapply them for you). I would def not tint over any stickers.

Unless you have a really good reason to tint that dark, I can pretty much guarantee you'll get hassled for that dark of a tint on your windshield and other windows (if its your DD).

If you want me to be honest I think tinting the windshield is a stupid idea. Not only will it hinder your vision at night, but you put other's safety at risk as well.

You can get clear UV tint or get very light stuff. I can say I will never run a a naked windshield again. For the record, I'm not a dark tint guy at all. It pisses me off quite a bit when I can't see what's in front of the car in front of me. I don't need to see your moles, just shapes of stuff you are likely to run into.

I find the whole black cave look rather vulgar tbh, unless it's a blackout theme or a limo.

I'm going to get the really really light Formula One Pinnacle ceramic on my front windshield when I get a chance. I absolutely love my tint already and the windshield will make a huge difference. I've even considered tinting my headlights and foglights too for strengthening the material.

Thanks for the responses, yeah I ended up finding some youtube instructional videos for tinting the windshield.

And no, 30% in the windshield doesn't impair at all your ability to see/drive at night.

In fact, from my experience living in couple other countries besides US I'd say getting the windshield tinted with the windows is the norm, rather than the exception. Of course I'm talking about going 5% all around the car, but they definitely get the windshield tinted with 30%+.
